Looking for side cargo door latch cables?

I have repaired the RIGHT, SIDE CARGO door cable, but I am trying to find the cables for the LEFT, SIDE

CARGO door.

The dealer only sells them with the latch and the only ones I can find are aftermarket with metal ends.

Anyone have an idea where to get the latch cables for the LEFT, SIDE CARGO door?

Thanks.

Ive been all over the dorman website and they only list cables for the 2 rear doors and the right side, hinged door, not the left side hinged door, same with rockauto and other sites.
Which rear door cables (right or left) are the same as the left side door?
Thanks

Do I understand your van has cargo doors on the driver's side? To date I've never seen an E-Series with factory cargo doors of any type on the drivers/left side---would love to see a photo.

FWIW I found a complete list and availability of door latch cables through RockAuto's catalog.

Also FWIW the only real difference in door latch cables is their length--ends and fitment into the latch body should be the same.

I changed all four in my van using the same sets for the rear. They come two to a package.

He's talking about the left door on the passenger side. Only Ford vans I've seen that had driver's side doors were the 1st gen in the 60's

Your saying the two cables that fit the rear/right passenger side back door (Facing back of van, door on right) will

work on the left side door (facing the side of the van door on left) ?

A few weeks ago I took off the plastic door cover thingy on the left side door and the cable that goes up to the upper latch looked much longer that the ones on the back door.

Thanks.

Think there was a long and short in each package. Been a year since I did mine.

Correct FoMoCo terminology:

BODY SIDE DOOR - Front & Rear

BACK DOOR - Right & Left

In the US/Canada, the left side is the drivers side.

I wondered what the hell you wanted when you said left side cargo door.

Another way to best describe which side of a vehicle is describing it while seated behind the steering wheel---which side is on YOUR left, etc etc.

FWIW I'm in the big truck glass biz and only rarely do I NOT ask "drivers side or passenger side?" when talking with a customer. You'd be surprised how many experienced professional drivers and mechanics don't know or use the common terminology we all think is common knowledge.

Unless your cable is broken, these will repair the ends so they will rehook in the clip.
