Super Cab Complete Interior Swap - Dash Difficulty

Hey guys,
Found some threads on painting/dyeing interiors but was curious how hard would a complete swap be (assume identical trucks just different colors)? Mainly I am asking about the dash itself. Everything else I figure will be pretty easy or at least not super intrusive to a daily driver. Will the dash plastic remove without the wiring and everything falling everywhere? I know there is some metal framework behind it but can't get a good visual on it all.
As always - thanks in advance for any thoughts.

When I did my swap, non-AC for AC, I also took the wiring.
IIRC there were a few screw holders across the top for the main harness and a few here and there.

I would start with the truck you are pulling the good dash from to see how to goes then the one it is going into.
Make sure you mark all the wire plugs where they go to as you will never remember where they all go.

IIRC the dash is removed as an assembled unit, leave the wiring in place. There are connectors where the dash & device (e.g. radio) wiring connects to the vehicle wiring, disconnect there.

The dash metal frame (with all plastic & wiring attached) unbolts from the cab body, IIRC you need some 10 mm wrenches. The flexible ratchet head wrenches are wonderful for getting at the bolts at the top, near the windshield.
