I've been on here since November 2013 when I bought my 66 F100 2wd, Flairside. She was close to a basket case and I attempted a frame off resto mod. She's 98.75% done. Not much on pictures or posting on here....BUT.... have gotten a lot of information, advice, parts (asking and buying) and links for how to's from responses, searches and others with questions. So I want to say thanks to all for the above and putting up with sometimes stupid questions. I won't go by name cause I'd leave someone out, I hope you know who you are. She started out as a basic 66 F100 Flareside with factory 352 and column 3 spd manual. Body, frame, suspension, drivetrain all gone thru. 66 Custom Cab ILO of the base rust bucket cab. Put the 352 to the side and placed a 390 from a 72 F100. Same 3 sp manual and kept with the floor shift. Went with power disc brakes up front and DJM dream beams and rear drop suspension. Tilt steering column from IDIDIT. All new electrical from American Autowire. Bed wood is Hickory with the SS strips hidden bolt system. This winter, the seats and headliner gets finished. She gets looks everywhere I go in her. Hope the pics aren't too large. And please forgive me for not doing this sooner or posting pic's throughout the build, I got thousands of these! Again, thanks and I still get on here daily to look around and learn something new! Worse than it looks. Cab was shot. Notice the bed isn't from a 66. Still have the original CC sweep speedo and dash, went with new dash from DC. Also have the original round dash from the basic F100 390, RV cam, Edelbrock manifold with 600 CFM carb, HEI distro, Hedman Headers Metallic/Iridescent Gunmetal Custom Color. I call it Vickie Sue Blue (after the wife).
JRJ. Part #1170825051. This is made for the Bendix gearbox. I have the Ford/Saginaw PS box. Thus the column wouldn't bolt up in place with their underdash mount. 2" too far into the cab. I had to take it off and since I had one, used the original 66 column mount. With the American Autowire wiring kit, can't get the horn to work. I'll fix it this winter.
