C-6 adjustments

Just put in a Hughes street/strip C-6 with 2300/2500 converter. Works great, shifts up relatively early which is good but under full throttle it wont shift. Top out at 5200rpm and no shift in drive until I lift. Trying to remember how to adjust the kickdown and modulator for this.

So... exactly what does the kickdown control? The modulator? I think most aftermarket modulators have an adjustment.

I think I found it. Trans shop kinked the vacuum hose to the modulator.
