C6 servo

I have a C6 with a "H" servo in it.Can a lesser tension spring,(or remove it)be installed to make it shift into 2nd harder?It has a B&M transpak in it and still does'nt hit 2nd hard enough.It shifts into 3rd real good.How about enlargening the oil hole in the servo cover,would that help.I removed the spring on a 904 AMC trans once and shifted into 2nd real nice.Can the same be done to the C6 and maybe even the C4.HELP!!

C6 servo

what type of vacuum modulator do you have? is it the adjustable one? if so you can play around with that to adjust how hard and at what rpm it shifts in 2nd. turn it in to harshen the shift, turn it out to soften it. the adjusting screw would be located inside of the vacuum fitting, it is a flathead screw.
