Lows: 8.9, Driving intoCold front, HARD rain, lots of slow and speed up, heavy traffic
Latest 14.7mpg. 1200miles 75-83mph. Florida to upstate NY. 15.8 on the way down (NY to FL) with a lot more traffic keeping speeds down to 70-75. Maybe a delete is in my future. Love the truck but I expect more out of it for mileage.
16.5 average hwy/town 50/50 2019 F350 DRW 6.7 4WD LWB CC 3.55 limited slip, stock. BTW, came from a 4.10 rear and I think the 3.55 is fantastic for what I do, pulling a 14k gooseneck horse trailer.
'15 F250 I hovered around 18.5 - 19 mpg on the highway empty. Towing the Coachman, 15 - 16K lbs, I was 10 -10.5mpg. This truck had 3:73 gears. I had reset one of the trip odometers when I pulled off the dealer lot and for 90K miles it told me I was at 14.7 over all. That truck was my daily driver in a 70 mile round trip commute in 50% rush hour traffic.
'18 F350 I get 16.5-17 mpg empty highway driving. With the same Coachman I'm at 10 mpg or just under towing. This truck has 4:10 gears. Its not my daily, can't fit in the parking garage at work with DRW's so I drive a Mazda , better mpg but God I miss driving the truck in that sort of traffic. My overall mpg according to the trip odometer, at just over 7k miles is13.6 with probably 4K towing. The rest is some local and highway miles.
My 17 junk gets 11.5 unloaded at 72mph with the cruise on. it's terrible. was about 13 with stock junk tires. trucks not lifted or anything just box stock with 35s.

Something is wrong with your truck unless you are talking about a F350 gasser dually with oversized and under inflated tires, lift kit and a parachute attached to your bumper.

Here is another way I track MPG. I have recorded every trip to get fuel since I bought the truck about 18 months ago.
Top graph is cost of diesel.
Bottom graph is MPG with High, Low and Average.
Pretty easy to figure out when I'm towing and when I'm not.
(FYI...I tow a 11,500 lb travel trailer between 70-75 MPH on the highway)
I am on my 4th 6.7 F 350 since 2010 and that is about where all of them hit, loaded and unloaded...THANKS for your HONESTY, a rare thing in MPG contests. Usually the longer the thread last the higher the mpg till what time everyone quits the thread as the guy who swears he gets 29 mpg pulling a 20k trailer starts bragging on his son and how smart he is. Truth be know he is lucky to get 9 mpg and his son is going college as soon as he finishes up at the state pen...
I have the same truck basically, "18 Lariat, 6.7PSD, CCLB, DRW, stock everything and agree with Redrockerstl55, you should be getting much better mpg than that.
Did you have a performance tune added?
