I purchased a f250 with oversized tires/rims on it with the low tire light. Was told that sometimes people will not put in the TMPS sensors and they will just drive around with the light on (getting tired if it already!!) Put new sensors in yesterday and did the relearn steps on how to set them to which no luck!! Does it need to go to a Ford dealership to have them reset or am I missing something? Thanks!!
Sorry I can’t help on the relearn but a couple of fall back options if it does not work. 1.) put a black sticky dot on the dash cluster to obstruct the light. 2.) send cluster to medic and ask them to permanently turn off light.

any tire place should be able to reset your sensors for you if they are working ok.
I haven’t put any sensors in my replacement tires on my 2011 F350. The warning light would only come on a few times every three or four months. However, once I hit 100,000 miles, i started getting a “low tire pressure” error message at every start up. Two weeks ago though I replaced my halogen headlight bulbs with led bulbs, and the messages disappeared.
