Recently bought my first Diesel and first Ford--2017 F-250 6.7 Platinum. Love this truck! Can I get some pics of of 250s pulling fivers, and any tips advice you may have? I'll be adding airbags and onboard compressor, and updating my shocks (Fox vs Bilstein?) Thanks in advance!
Here you go. Though, it's a gasser, not the diesel. Since the 250's have capped GVWR, the diesel chops a healthy chunk out of your available 'listed' payload. I pretty much need my full 2849 lbs of payload for this setup, but I'm carrying wife, 2 single digit aged kids and 2 dogs.
Curious as to why you didn't you go with a 350 Single Wheel?
In my case I wanted to avoid the headaches involved with conflicting regulations whenever your GWR exceeds 4500 KG (9920.8 lbs) here in Ontario. The 250 let me take a take the 9900 lbs (4490.6 kg) downgrade package and avoid any issues. But for ya'll in the South without such regulations, yeah, the 350 makes more sense.
Couldn't find any on the lot. The good news for me is I currently only owe 40K on my current 250 (Platinum, full Tow Package, Full Everything package), so I can easily upgrade to a 350 if I find a comparable one.
