1963: Warranty Plate riveted to the left door face below the latch. Has the VIN (Warranty Number) and etc codes stamped on it
However, your picture shows the VIN stamped on a WA state tag.
The usual reason, either the truck has a salvage title, or it was stolen at some point, the original Warranty Plate was removed.
So WA verified the hidden frame VIN stamped on the frame rail, then issued this tag stamping the VIN on it.

Thanks!! That is all I could find so far, but I picked it up today.
Does not have a title so I have some work to do!

Looks stock to me, all 1954/64 truck Y blocks had single exhaust with that cross over pipe.
Cars were available with duals, not trucks.

Update from a few months ago.
Decided to sell it. Too much of a project. Didn't want to mess with the title nonsense, salvage or whatever the real story was.
Thanks for your help guys. Posting what I bought in a new thread.

Don't blame you, I don't touch anything without a title. I've heard of guys having good luck with getting a new title but I've never felt the need to undertake that journey.
