has anyone else had this problem?
on my 2009 f-150 that has electric seats. on the driver,s side only. the plastic part that holds the switches, has anyone else had it to crack along the top edge.? my local Ford dealer can get me a brand new replacement part and it,s only $40 something dollars. not to bad i guess, but over time it,s gonna happen again. is there any other way to fix this so it won,t happen again.? thanks for any help or ideas with this.

i am going to have the dealer give me my old part back. i am going to try to hammer form a new piece out of some scrap aluminum. i figure it,s worth a try . i mean the old part is already broken , what have i got to lose.?
