Impossible, I remember a couple haters posting about how Ford wasn't selling nearly enough of these and they were going to go bankrupt due to their "mistake" in "gambling" with the design.

The linked article must be inaccurate.

My local Ford dealer has had a 2015 sitting out front for several weeks now.

I've only seen two in the wild and my local dealer has the same five sitting.

I have seen them at the dealer, but none "in the wild," yet, either.

They are showing up in the parking garage that I use near my office. One XLT/XTR, and one Platinum, and one that I'm not sure of trim level.

Was at my dealer the other day and they had a total of 1. Said Ford was not delivering very many until they cleared out the 14's.

Not sure about anywhere else, but they're everywhere down here now! My neighbor just traded his GMC on a Platinum, not sure what engine package he has, but it's a beautiful truck.
Anyway, they seem to be selling very well down this way.

I'm on the road everyday around northern IA and southern MN and I've only seen 1 2015 on the road. Most dealers around here only have 1 or 2 on hand.

Weird the way that works. There's a small dealership down here that has at least 8 or 9 on the lot now.

I wonder how many of the counted sales are pre-orders vs. walk-ins?

There was one sitting in front of our local dealership. Only lasted 2-3 days. I have seen it out in the wild once.

I'm not seeing many on the road since they hit sales lots. In contrast, when the '04 and '09's were released within weeks I saw them daily in the road.

I've seen more out and about driven by ford employees testing them out before they were released than I do now that they're for sale. Mind you, I live near Ford world headquarters

Ford planned for the shortage, it was the only way they could make the immense switch to the new tooling. I'm not concerned as our reps told us about this months in advance. Now if Ford was caught off guard by it then there would be cause for concern. As I see it, We'll give up a little now to be many years ahead of everyone else. Ford has the best motors and now the best body, both ready for the future. The light weight is nice for fuel economy, but it's biggest payoff is payload.
