Man these Shells look great. I am still half steppin waiting to find one used. If some one is near NC and wants to sell i have cash in hand. What is the average wait time after you order till ya'll received it?
Totally worth the wait, but it took 7 weeks to get my ARE Z.
I also special ordered mine for my long bed F350. It took 2 months for it to be delivered to the dealer then another month or so for me to have it installed. I live in the Atlanta area and the closest Snugtop dealer is in St. Louis, so I had to schedule the install on the way to a music festival in Kansas. I also have a full bedrug in the back of my pickup. I love my Snugtop!
ARE Z-series with slider windows instead of the frameless hinged windows. I prefer the frameless look but wanted the airflow from the slider windows for my dogs, who ride back there from time to time. The sliders also have pet screens.
Installed by JemTop in the Chicago area. They did a great job.
F-250 6.2 CCSB 4x4, Blue Jeans, ARE Z-series cap with LED lighting, slider windows with pet screens, 12v outlets, sliding/fold-down front window.

That looks like a great garage/barn.... I wish I had something similar. Truck looks great BTW
This was one of a few threads that helped me decide on the type of topper I wanted for my F-250, so I thought I'd contribute as well! I ended up with the Snugtop Rebel with the opening "windoors" on the sides. Also put in a custom grey color Rhino Liner Hybrid on the truck bed (I felt black sprays left it looking too dark) and have Bed Rug mat on it for my knees. I'll be taking it out on it's maiden voyage in a few weeks, so I'll let everyone know how it performs.

I've had a few Jason toppers in the past. This one is on my 15' F250. I like the way they match the trucks body lines compared to the other brands.
Do you see any difference in fuel economy when towing compared to an open bed? I know you pick up weight from a shell. I can feel the weight difference when I pull the Snug Top tonneau cover off.
tint of access window
tint of window facing cab
tint of rear can window
tint of rear view mirror
there 0% visabilty from drivers position.
My rear window will be completely blocked with dog boxes anyway. GMC trucks (and it looks like 2020 Silverados) can be optioned with a screen built into the rear view mirror that allows you to use the rear camera instead of the mirror. I've been looking at an aftermarket option that seems to do the same. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07L1N4W..._XDpcDbV1D0N05 The rear camera is waterproof but I think I'm going to mount it inside the rear of the cap looking out the back window. The "mirror" also has a front camera and can be set up to record video.

Let me know if you do this! I have been considering the exact same thing. There are a few models on Amazon and I’d love to have the added visibility they provide. If you installed it yourself how much of a pain in the a** was it?
