I'm not 100% on if it is Borgeson, but think so.
Yes 2.5 is quick.
I believe they have different ratios too.

Borgeson shafts are top quality. But if you're a cheap a$$ like me, a junk yard shaft from an E-series van fits really nice.

Yep, on-board air. Just a cheap breather filter on the intake to the compressor.

I still have on the multi pullys as it had a/c back in the early 80s’ did not work well so i traded it off for parts and fluids. So I will stay with Groved belts.. we did this on the 715 when being built. GM pump and gear box and it all bolted right up. The 40’s still make it thought sometimes and it needs ram assist.

I'm thinkin "the yards" have much more plentiful pickins than here in the NE ("10 y/o? off to the crusher!"). SW is pretty dry...

"Hands-on", 'pick up the tools' may B too tedious if U have the $ & less need to get into the details but it's Y I'm here. Others have so much more experience & knowledge than me, have helped me (like "Clakie" on 'wan tuns', Chuck @ BCB - rear discs) save time'n $.

What yrs on the Econoline shaft for his EB?

There is still lots of stuff down south closer to El Paso. Lots of it goes to Mexico. So they come up and shop the J Yards quite a bit. Will never forget the day I was taking the dogs for a run across the hiway to an open filed when i turned around and saw a 70 Torino Cobra Jet on a trailer headed for scrap. The yellow one with the mat black hood. Could not catch up to it in time.

U really can't tell me stories like that any more. I had alot of trouble sleepin when the "Cash 4 Clunkers" legislation came out. I saw lines of late 80s/early 90s diesel ford trucks, 60s rancheros, Nash, late 70s F250s, all kinza nice ol cars lined up'n crushed in Cali, TX, etc.
Ur R my buddie but - Plez Stop...
Hurts as much as this 1K Oaks shooting (13 kids)...thinkin of some male or female 20 sumpin, just startin life, but o0OPPps, guess not.

WELL>. Mother-in-law passed so been taking care of wife. BUT. Parts are being piled up. It is cheaper to get it piece by piece. Only thing has me a little off is the steering shaft. Kind of don’t know if i can fab this or need to buy it.
