on the window sticker, I assume if it says convoy it's coming by truck and if rail then rail. Mine is awaiting shipping. Long wait till the end. Ordered 9/18
Pretty sure it doesn't mean anything. Mine says convoy but it is on a train in Kansas on its way to San Diego. Pretty sure Ford never intended to ship it over 2000 miles on a truck.
I guess they all say that. Mine said Convoy but it still made a train trip to the West Memphis yard. From what I understand, it didn’t take the most direct route either!
Jack Cooper hauled mine to/from the railyard and since yours is coming to West Memphis like mine did you might be able to find some info on their site. You don’t have to have a login, just hit the magnifying glass and type in your VIN.
for my order, I got in May - Ford has a rail to truck distribution yard in the twin cities area, one day the Jack Cooper / Palsapp status changed, and a few hours later, it showed shipped to dealer, which is about 50 miles from that yard.. the wait was worth it..
I tracked mine like a hawk. PALSAPP never changed from the time it was built to the time I drove it off the lot. I think you have to be able to login to actually see where the particular train with your truck is actually at. When I was talking to Ford to try to find out why the truck was sitting at the unloading yard for so long he was able to see that it had made several stops from Kentucky to Texas.
