My truck was built last Friday and is in preparing for shipment purgatory with an ETA of 11-20. My window sticker says that the method for transportation is convoy. I assume the this convoy is just to the rail yard as the truck is going to CA and I doubt that it will come to me by truck.

For those of you in the Bay area, how long did it take you to get a truck after it was built?

The one in Glove compartment will be better than the one-line version. Hope we both meet our ETA.

 

Mine was built on 11/7 and the ETA is 11/21. I live in Sacrmento and I bet our trucks will be on the same transport train.

 

Maybe. I wonder where the main rail hub for trucks coming in to the Bay area is?

I bet it's the port of Oakland. Google maps shows big parking area for vehicles that are offloaded from rail cars.

 

That would be convenient. I work in Oakland, maybe I can stop by pick it up for the dealer.

Yup I think you are correct. Look on Google maps and can see the car carries on the rails with cars in a big lot.

 

My truck was built on 10/18, ETA was 11/1, but now has been pushed back to 11/22.

It's going to redwood city.
