Anyone had this problem? The clutch linkage rod broke and I ordered a new one from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. The new rod is very nicely built except the ends of the rod that ride in the plastic bushings in the lever arms are too large in diameter. The old rod had 3/8" diameter pin ends, the new rod is more like 7/`16". The outside diameter of the bushing is something like 0.482. So the new rod doesn't fit in the original bushing and the new bushing doesn't fit in the original hole. The new rod fits in the original hole without a bushing and that's how it's set up now.
So I spent about $10 on new bushings that I cannot use unless I drill out the holes in the arms to accept the new bushings! Is this typical?
I have emailed JBG but not enough time has passed to get an answer.

What year/series truck, what engine? If this is a 1977 thru 1979 F100/350, I need the last 6 digits of the VIN
*Depending on the year and the last 6 digits of the VIN, there are two different nylon bushings, two different rods.
I received an almost instant message from Jeff to refund my $10.00. What a standup guy. I had suggested store credit as I see some things in his catalog that I need. But the $$ has already been returned to my bank account.
The truck VIN is F15HRX81328 and it was built in late 1976. The bushings that came with the clutch rod have a Ford part number that starts with F8.
