Today I took delivery of my 1961 F100 Flareside. She is very solid and her needs are mostly cosmetic. She`s been around a bit, but some prior owner performed a pretty fair restoration. Except for that paint. She was originally Corinthian White but I think she will end up C. white over mint. I'm new to this restoration game, so there will be lots of questions and paper cuts from my shop manuals. Finally, if you recognize this truck, please don't pee on my party.

COLOR code: C = Pure White / M = Wimbledon White .. Both colors introduced in 1964. Wimbledon is an off white.
Ben, attached is the bracket picture. It looks to be original, but I'm not certain. The bracket attaches onto the arm using bolts from the tail light assembly. Mine appear to be installed upside down and are missing the wire shield.
Dummy, (can I call you dummy for short?) Thanks for the extra info. The tag definitely reads M. And I will be looking for hubcaps.
Convoy driver. I'm afraid this won't help you. Currently she is wearing a chewed up set of 225 75 15s. The wheels are not original. These are part of a growing list of fixes for this truck. This was a bare bones farm truck. I'm trying to make sure she stays that way.
Thanks for the picture. I think your correct that it is upside down, but if you turn it over, like mine is, you still cant see the licence plate with the bumper in the way
Thanks for the Info. We installed new LT 215/75R15 on our 1966 military restoration. Trying to get it to look like the original wheels and tires from 1966.
Also had to go to four Ford 15 Inch steel wheels off a later 1981 pick up from the local salvage yard which means I can't use the original style wheel covers right now.
