4.5L Powerstroke

I am new to a shop that has recently replaced the power steering lines on a 2008 LCF with the 4.5L. They couldn't get anyone to send them the correct lines so they had some made at the local Bond store. I came and replaced the brake lines on the truck and took for a test drive. The power steering seems to be working fine but high brake pedal effort is needed, unless I wiggle the steering wheel back and forth. When the wheel is wiggled, the pedal effort becomes normal. Will over sized power steering hoses affect the braking effort. Also what is the pressure spec that the pump is supposed to put out?
