Looking to add rear air bags for hen i tow heavy or have a load in my bed. Which kit have y'all gone with? Im looking for the automatic one that levels itself so i don't have to just it myself
Sounds like you want something similar to what I have installed which is, the Airlift 5000 with SmartAir II. It auto levels so there is no input from me whatsoever. I've had it installed for about a year now and have had no issues yet. I hook up my trailer and after a few seconds the compressors both kick on and the bed goes back to normal ride height. Works really well in my opinion.
Airlift 5000 Ultimate kit on mine along with the Airlift WirelessAir onboard compressor and remote control. Set mine to 5 lbs when empty. My F350 rides as good as my previous F250 and I can tell no difference in the ride with airbags.
Mine currently rides better than stock. The MTs are running with 40 PSI and are very compliant, so no bump steer or rear axle hop over bumps. The lift kit has about 500 miles on it now and the springs have softened up. Honestly, it rides better than my wife's Rubicon with a 3" lift and 35" ATs.
As for the air bags, you don't even know they are there unless you hit the inner bump stops (the 5000 Ultimate has a condensed foam "plug" inside the airbags to keep them from fully compressing and doing damage, so I let them ride at 5 PSI).
After looking into it and like others mentioned, I'm going with LoadLifter Ultimate PLUS #89399 and WirelessAIR #72000. Just trying to decide on self-install or take it to a shop

Don't buy the 7500. I bought them for my 2017 F350 4x4 SRW. They are to big. They don't fit. The Def tank is in the way. There is no way they will fit. I had to return mine and switched for the 5000. Have not installed the 5000 yet but I tried them our and the 5000 will fit.
When the kit says "Up to 5,000 pounds of leveling capacity" does that mean it will add 5000 lbs of load capacity to the springs? For example, I have a 1987 different brand dually with new springs and I have a water tank on the truck. I can only fill it 3/4 full with 750 gallons of water before the front end gets light. If I add the 5000 lb air bags will that stop any additional sagging if I add another 2075 lbs (250 gal) of water?
