Irratic Idle problem
Posted a few weeks back about an issue with my 87 302 , will start "buckin" & cut off --let sit for a while & starts & runs fine for a while -- just read a post about a similiar issue --one of the answers was he found the ECM relay was not making contact all the time & engine would cut off , then would restart & run fine until it cut off again . Also on mine (& this may be a non related issue ) my 1dle speed will go to 3000 rpm,s for a while , THen settle down to normal . Most of the time I have to cut engine off & restart before idle is anywhere near normal . Could this be a throttle position sensor issue OR ?? bY THE WAY ,WHERE is the ecm relay located on a 87 302 .. the engine is a trasnplant from a 93-94 according to the P O . BUT I guess the electrical components should be the same . Any help appreciated , Will
