Greetings gang. Somehow my introduction got lost. So in brief, I will be getting a 1961 f100 flareside, mostly original, partially restored, terribly painted. It will need a little work in order to be road ready. Hopefully simple stuff like turn signals, brake lights, horn, etc. She purrs like a kitten through her original inline 6. I'm beside myself with excitement, as this will be my retirement hobby project. So here is the issue. Between now and when my shop manuals arrive, can anyone tell me why my turn signals might not stay on unless I hold down the handle. Not a huge problem unless you are also trying to steer and downshift. Pictures will be forthcoming. Thanks In the meantime
Welcome!! Lots of good information on this site. Your story sounds like mine. I too have recently acquired a 61 stepside for a retirement project. I have the same problem with my turn signals.
