Crank no start
So my truck (1997 250HD 4WD)
I had just come from the pump and got biodiesel for the first time and the truck died while running and won't restart, crank no start. I first assumed it was my battery cable because the truck chugged a little before hand (about 2 seconds long) and I have an issue with my battery cable occasionally so I tried that immediately.. Then I checked the fuses, first the fuel ones and all.. Then every one. I only had one blown fuse.. Which was for my trailer connection, replaced it anyway. Well shortly after I got someone to jump start me because of continued cranking in a turn lane . Someone pulled me into a gas station and I checked all the fuel lines.. No leak, added 5 gal of regular diesel to try and dilute the biodiesel to see if it tried.. No dice.. Then I went to the fuel bowl.. Pulled out the fuel filter, etc. The fuel filter was definitely not clean.. But it seemed functional.. Nonetheless I pulled out a can of brakeclean to try and get a roadside fix. No dice. I then sprayed some starter fluid in to try and rule out some other stuff.. She started and ran off the starter fluid I sprayed in and died after my little spray was gone.. Other than that I got it pulled back to the house because it was 12 am and I had to work at 530am lol.
Any help is appreciated
