They already fixed it!! TSB issued, repairs being performed.. it is very well known so not sure why you even bothered to post that.
Because a TSB is reactive and a recall is proactive.
And to add to that, unless you are googling it or on a forum, you have no clue that there already is a repair procedure in place therefor people experience it and jump right on the NHTSA site to complain.
Heck, even on a forum, clearly there are people on here who still have no clue about it.
Agreed. Mine WILL NOT open with the button on the dash unless circumstances are just right. I think I had mine open by itself once. After that I greased all the connectors underneath the truck and haven't had it happen again.
