Does someone know if I change the stock 18" rim with 275/65-18 tires to a 20x9" rim with 295/65-20 tires, if that will still raise overall height?
All things considered I should loose 2" in sidewall and the overall axle height should remain the same?? reason I ask is I've read on some tire/ rim options, the tire will sit higher than some others.
My overall intent is not to raise the truck any Higher, I traded in a 2015 Dirty Max 3500HD for this 2019 F350 and the Ford is definitely higher, and I pull a 5th wheel.
Ok, thanks, I can live with 1.5" I'll have to take it in to have the speedo adjusted.
I ordered this truck, the 20" rim was an upgrade and I didn't want to finance them, so I figured ill have a lot more choice of rim style and just upgrade to the 20" rim after getting the truck, and I can sell the takeoffs and recoup some money. I compared a new Dirty Max to the new super duty, and Ford just has them beat, with a lot of bells and whistles, if im going to keep a truck for the next 10 years, I figure the aluminum body makes a lot of sense as to trade in value, along with the step in the tailgate(im getting older) why doesn't every truck have this, and the camera system is awesome.
