Heater

I’ve got a 2004 f250. I juts replaces the blend door actuator and the heater core and it’s still blowing cold air. I put my hand on my heater cores line to see if they were getting hot and I got air coming out from around my Heater core. I’ve looked to much at it and need some outside help before I lose my mind. Lol

Does your truck have the heater hose valve under the hood?
It's right by the oil filler neck, if it has this valve he sure the little vacuum hose is plugged in.

having issues myself going around testing things before I replace stuffs...
anyhow I can for certain say that this actuator rests in the open position (allowing coolant to flow) and actuates on max cool closing off the lines.

have you looked to see if you blend door actuator actually moves? pulled out plug it in and switch from cold to hot... it moves real slow.
next step which is where I'm at is to see if the blend door is moving (looking to see if the door itself is stripped or stuck).

yea I replaced it and when I replaced the heater core I checked to see if it actually turned and it did. And the door it turns does turn. So I put the new jester core in and connected everything like it was suppose to and still no heat.

To be honest I am purely "spitballing " here based on how tmost heater systems are supposed work. Never delt witn 6.0L heater issues... also I am having no heat issues too.
On that note for us both I would check if there is coolant flowing to the core. 1st Separating the connection from the vacuum valve asked about above (core side) . Crank or run the engine briefly. See if coolant flows from there. If no then go back as far as you can including pump.. As soon as there is flow the previous section has the blockage.

Also check out flow from core. could have imeadiatly blocked new core (doubtful but needs to be ruled out) also the line from core to degas blocked (no flow no heat).

Only other place would be in the air flow areas but being cold works could only be at blend door. Since you had it out I can only asume you would have noticed.

Hope this helps...
