2019 F350 Crew Cab DRW, anyone know how to get the driver side REAR seat to fold down? There isn't a visible release lever/strap that I can see.
You're talking about the seat back? If its like the F150, there is pin/latch that you can reach with your hand (easier when the seat bottom is partially up, lifting the back up and away from the rear of the cab). Pull it up and the rear unlatches and folds down. There is a company that makes a strap that attaches and makes it easier, but I never had an issue on my F150 once I figured it out.
I built my own release for it. Non-Sony stereo here so plenty of useable space. Gotta reach down with a combination wrench to pull up on the pin the first time.
I drilled a hole in the pin on mine & threaded the keyring from my FTE lanyard that I got from here through it. Just leave the end of the lanyard draped over the seatback.
No strap on the '17. Lift the bottom seat about 3" before pulling back seat forward (to gain a little more access). Feel behind seat for a small metal pencil size pin and lift up.
Took my brand new F350 to the dealer to get the seatback to latch. Had to lift the bottom of the seat slightly to make it work. I already put the Built Right setup on it. Service guy told me the seat back is not meant for the consumer to operate, only service personnel to access electronics back there. Yeah, whatever. Just happens, my 5th Wheel hitch kit fits perfectly back there.
