Brake PAd Size
I was trying to order brake pads for my truck on line, and I hate to ask a silly question, but they had 2 sizes (2 1/2" and 3"). Will either work? I don't feel like going out and measuring mine . Now ordering online it seems sometimes you have to know more little details about the truck (vs. just going to the parts store)

That depends on the truck you got. If you have a heavy-duty truck, you will need 3" shoes. The best way to tell is to take a wheel and drum off and just measure the width of a shoe. Takes about 5 minutes. If that's not an option, some other clues are: (1) look at your front calipers - if they have dual pistons, then you have a heavy-duty truck, so go order 3" for the rear. (2) the number and the size of the lug nuts. If you have 8 per weel and they are 1"1/16 in size (big!) then, again, you have a heavy-duty truck.

Just noticed in you SIG you have F250HD. I think HD stands for heavy-duty, so it looks like you need 3" shoes.
