wierd electrical problem
just bought a beautiful f150 in good condition but cant figure it out. runs good but dies when i turn the lights on or let the e -brake up all the way. wont start unless lights are off and e-brake is slightly engaged..Wierd?
its a 5.8 liter with 125k. any way to get some more power back from these suffocating beasts?...thanks

There have been a couple of other post about the truck dying when the brakes were put on. They were both tracked down to wires with the insulation worn off so that when you push the pedal the linkage hits the wiring and makes it short out. Don't have an answer for the problem with the light switch, but I'd be checking the wiring for bare spots.
