Live axle conversion question
I have a 1998 Mazda B-3000 and my pulse vacuum hubs are non functional. What I really need to know is about a conversion that I know can be done on a Ranger with these hubs, but not sure if it can be done with my Mazda. Its the live axle conversion where you take the axles and hubs from a 95-01 Ford explorer and put them into the ranger. That way bypassing the need for locking hubs all together due to them always being locked. I was just wondering if this same conversion could be done with my 1998 Mazda B-3000.Thank you very much for your time.

Yes, it would be the same process to convert your '98 B-3000 to a "live axle" setup as it is for the Ranger.
You can change out the non-functional stock PVH hubs to Rugged Ridge manual locking hubs for a lot less time and money...

Ok thanks was just wondering because I've heard some bad things about the Rugged Ridge hubs, The new axles and hubs are only about $50 more than the Rugged Ridge hubs and as long as everything fits I'd be able to install the axles and hubs no problem. Thank you for your response.
