My truck arrived in Norfolk Southern's Poe car lot (yard), just south of Petersburg, VA sometime yesterday. The scheduled delivery date was shortened to only an 11 day wait (21 January) for it to be trucked the last 150 miles.

 

Yea that site is a joke. I stopped by the dealer and seen a red truck in the back and I thought it was mine but it turns out it was another customers special ordered truck. His truck was built around the same time and the vins are very close but he/she got their truck before mine. I was not too happy about it.

I talked to the general manager today and the said the tracking system has been way off(likenmy situation)and they've had some issues with transportation and he also told me that he thinks its nearby and it should be here next week. So I called my local Jack Cooper terminal and gave them parts of the vin number and sure enough it's on the ground there. So they told me it should be dispatched to my dealer sometime next week. Since that other truck came before mine, it shouldn't be far behind. If I were you, get in touch with your JC terminal and speak to dispatch and give them the vin and they should tell you. I would be extra nice to them, if not then they may put it on the bottom of the list .

 

 

Sold my ,12 on the 18th and on the 22nd ordered my 19. Hope I get my VIN soon to!

 

 

 

That's funny. We're in the same scheduling cycle and my delivery date is 3/2. How far away from the factory is your dealer? My dealer is near San Antonio.

 

 

My F-450 order changed this morning to awaiting shipment. Ordered 12/3, delivery of 2/6 is still the same, but window sticker is no longer viewable. Has anybody ran into that yet?

 

 

I couldn't see my window sticker until the status changed to in production. That was a little over a month from when I ordered the truck.

 

What I've read is Ford order acceptance (VIN) + 10 days = Window Sticker; +10 days = Production, give or take a few days, of course. That roughly lines up with the schedule my dealer gave me (scheduled on the 10th, build the week of the 28th). By the way, my delivery date now says Feb 28th.

 

 

25 days I still have no VIN#.....
Don't feel like bothering the dealer yet but when that 30 days hit ima buggin'.

 

Im 75 days no VIN, so I found a truck in GA, and looking to buy it and drive it back to Seattle.
