Hello! I have been lurking on this site for some time now, doing research reading opinions and thoughts. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2019 F-250 Lariat Sport last week, and as excited as I am, I am also some what aggravated about the wait time. Can anyone give me some insight as to how long they think i will actually have to wait to receive my new truck? My dealer told me that is could be anywhere from 3-12 weeks... which is obviously a huge window.

What kind of real world wait times are people seeing?

I'm at week 2 of the second order process, after a mix up on the first order which was done on August 23rd.

My "new" order went in on Monday 9/17, as of today no VIN assigned. Realistically I'm expecting early November as a "best case".

 

 

I don't know what code my order has, I just have an order number and a screen shot from dealer that shows when it was submitted, body style, etc., along with my detailed build sheet. Good luck! Waiting isn't that fun!

 

Ordered 7-25-18. Ford picked up order on 7-26. It's built and scheduled delivery to dealer is 10-16-18. Hope it holds true. Lariat CC SB 6.2

 

 

ordered mine on 7-7 and picked it up 9-6. Waiting sucks.

 

Ordered mine on 9/19, build date week of 10/1, ETA 11/1. As of today it showed "In Production". Had my VIN last week.

 

I ordered mine approximately 2 weeks ago and Mine has a scheduled build date of 10/3 (today). I am blown away. My dealer said it should be on their lot by 10/17.

 

 

Ordered 7/12/18 at dealer.
Entered into system 7/20/18
Built 9/11/18 according to date on sticker
Dealer told me 10/6/18 the first time I inquired
Told me 10/1/18 the next time
Still says in transit. Supposed to be delivered 10/6/18 according to Ford tracking
No calls from the dealer yet to go in and do paperwork..
The date at the bottom of the sticker was updated today to 10/3/18

 

Ordered on 8/24. COTUS showed a VIN on 9/13. I had delivery dates of 10/28, 10/24 and now it's 11/3. Have yet to see a build date on COTUS but the dealer says their system shows it's scheduled for 10/8. Right from the beginning I was expecting to see the truck in late November so any date prior to that is a bonus.

 

Ordered mine on 9/8, scheduled build date 10/6 with delivery on 10/16. I'm expecting the beginning of november. I would think for efficiency purposes they would build runs of similar trucks at the same time which would effect build scheduling and turnaround time regardless of order date. The transport is solely going to depend on rail or truck availability which is the biggest wildcard.

 

Ordered 7/6 - Delivered 9/20.

 

I'm very fortunate. My 2019 was built and delivered in a shockingly short period of time. I ordered it on 8/9/18 and took delivery on 9/18/18. Truck was built in Louisville, Kentucky and delivered by CSX rail to the Albany, NY area. No idea how or why it was built and delivered so fast.
