Aftermarket Dash?

Does anyone make an aftermarket dash for the 1999.5-2003 F350? This is one area that I would like to upgrade. I've come across dash upgrades for other vehicles, but I have yet to see one for our trucks. If you have a lead, please post it.

Thanks,
Mike

Subscribed to see what you come up with.

Curious as to what you would like to change add and what you dont like about existing dash.

I'm sure you can get a shop to make a custom dash but I don't know of anybody has a dash as a regularly offered item. Most just modify the OEM dash to fit whatever new gadget/function they want to install.

The only modified pieces that I know of are for gauges (Autometer makes gauge pods for the pillar, overhead, instrument cluster bezel, and steering column) and the F-650 lower dash for the auto and manual transmission. All of these can be found on RIFFRAFF FORD DIESEL PERFORMANCE PARTS

By dash I meant an upgrade over the stock instrument cluster. I have modern LED pillar gauges installed and I have a custom console with an Andriod tablet and Torque Pro monitoring other things. I tried to use LED bulbs to brighten up the OEM cluster, but that failed miserably. Do not simply try to change the bulbs with LEDs -- it makes it worse. It is very difficult to see 55 mph on the dash now.

I do have onboard wifi in my 99 and a custom app I built to control electronics with a mobile device:https://sway.office.com/iNOEeoQJLS5BzuHM

I've seen dash instrument upgrades for Jeeps and Hummers. Given the number of our trucks produced, I was hoping that someone already made one. I have some tech skills, but I don't have the budget or time to reverse engineer the instrument cluster.

I have done an LED conversion on my cluster and it works fine for me, the top most section is a 74 type bulb so that will be dependent on the style of bulb there

Yes, the lights that do not point forward can be controlled using a phone or tablet.

Yours looks a little better than mine. Mine is considerably darker near 55 in the speedometer.

It was a kit specified for our trucks sold on Amazon and it included replacements LEDs for all of the bulbs -- I don't recall the brand.

There is a company called Mil-Spec Automotive that made a custom cluster for a Hummer. This is look is what I am seeking.
