I don't know what brand to get for the best performance, but I can tell you what to stay away from. Stay away from those cheapo wire sets at Walmart and other like stores.

Motorcraft, -they just seem to work the best! Some of the aftermarket wire sets are junk, even the high $$ stuff. Many of the $$ plug$ are just gimmicks.

Motosport/Autolite are fine

The only plugs I don't like are Champion. I'd rather keep a used plug.

These may be just another new gimmick. Decide for yourself.

Another gimmick... It shrouds the spark with too much metal. That metal could either foul easily because it was cold, or on the other hand it could act as a pre-ignition source. There are other plugs out there with multiple side electrodes that would seem to do the same thing.

I like the Mallory Blue Max wire sets. They fit well and have low resistance for a wound wire. Probably have to order from Summit Racing etc. I don't use platinum or Skip Fire. I do like the Accel "U" grove plugs. They seem to last a long time and burn clean.

Forgot to add. I have a account at Advanced Auto Parts. So what would be best to get from there?
