Trying to pick one of these up before the the free Yakima deal goes away.
i have an 8 foot bed F350.
Where is the cheapest place to buy? Would love somewhere cheap with no sales tax (I’m in CA)
i thought I found it for $1739 yesterday for a shortbed but today I couldn’t find it for less that $1900. I just went ahead and ordered it from etrailer. I didn’t want to miss the Yakima deal either.
I actually ended up getting it from The line x retailer locally. They did $1850, install included before tax on the 8 foot bed. I’m happy with that.

I got mine for $1736.10 (no tax/free shipping) from https://www.tonneaufactoryoutlet.com/ It should be delivered on Tuesday. The guy at Tonneau factory outlet said the Yakima promotion was going to be extended out for a longer period of time due to the overwhelming demand.

I just checked...it's back to $1929.00.
I must have just missed the lower price by a day. 👎
Just seeing if anyone knows. I have a Powertrax Pro MX and wanted to get XR rails to replace the MX rails. Does anyone know if I could order just the XR rails? Thanks!

From ReTrax, "Rails for this application would be $371.00 plus $30 in shipping within the U.S." You can definitely order MX rails.
RETRAXPRO MX TONNEAU COVER (8' BED )
PART #:80387
Standard Rails w/ Stake Pocket Cut Out
Has anyone installed theirs yet? I am wondering if they sent me the wrong clamps. The drawings in the instructions show a different clamp than the standard one for the xr rails. The rounded part should be angled per the instructions so it pushes up, it says to support the loads on the rails.
I installed it with these. I can’t quite get the weather stripping at the canister to be even on both sides at the front either.

Those are pretty much the same clamps that I got with my XR. They will work. I had to extend the adjustable section all the way out. I installed mine today. I tried installing it while parked in my driveway which is sloped. I couldn't get anything to line up. I took it to the flat elementary school parking around the corner and had it dialed in about 20 minutes. Straight as an arrow, opens and closes easily. I used a couple clamps/wood blocks to get the rails tight to the bed and tilt them at the 2 degrees as the instructions said to do (see pic below). It would have been impossible to install this by myself without the clamps. Nice and tight too!
I emailed Retrax, and the clamps are the correct ones. I was told the vertical sliding part is what makes the clamps unique for the XR rails. The manual drawings are only shown the way they are to illustrate that the sliding part needs to be at the top.
