!987 Bronco ll engine

Hello, My question is about the electrical swap when I install the 4.0l from 1997 Ranger. The brain just plug is self explanatory. Its the other stuff. This truck is a Eddie Bauer and has all the bells and whistles. Do I need all of the electrical from the donor. There is a square connector with quite a few female receptacle.I'm thinking this must go to the main fuse box to power up relays and fuses. Hope someone can help. Thx David

Unfortunately I do not have a definitive answer for you. I believe that the engine wiring is separate from the rest of the truck so you should be fine. My question is how you plan on addressing the swap to an OBD-2 system?
