Hi all,
I'm new and not sure how to correctly navigate this place yet, so forgive me if this is something that has been posted many times and I'm to dumb to find it.
I have a 1999 F250 SD 5.4 that has been giving me a fit, the 1131 and 1151 codes just don't tell me enough , one day the truck was running fine, the next it was like crap, it was that abrupt. It runs better when cold, and when at normal temp it really stumbles at and above 2k rpm under driving load. revs fine when sitting still. It also seems to be worse when I have to sit at stop lights for long amounts of time, and if I shut the engine off and restart it it does better. So far I have only cleaned the MAF and tested it to make sure it was good, and checked for vacuum leaks, that I have not found any, dose not mean there aren't any I just have not found any. I have not checked the o2 sensors yet as I'm not sure on the testing procedures yet, any help with those would be appreciated, or any other ideas on what I should look for to get me going again. Thanks!
Did a google search and this popped up and seemed to mimic your situation. From reading this it seems the 02 sensors aren't responding . You may want to test those or try replacing one of the upstream ones to see If you can get a code to go away. The thread also indicated it potentially could be the wiring harness or ecu. Give the thread a read. Wish I had more concrete help for you.

Thanks for the link, I am trying not to just throw money/parts at it in hopes of fixing it , but I think I may end up having to buy new o2 sensors as they are a pain to test , I went though the top side of the engine again today searching for vac leaks and all is good, so it is something in a sensor somewhere.
Well it was the oxygen sensors, if anyone is looking for a good price on them then head over to Amazon, I had the two of the with free next day shipping for less than I could have bought one for at Advance auto, now my truck runs like it was before this, I have no idea how both sensors went at the same time but it's done now.
