Some Dufas backed into my truck today and dented the drivers side Rear bumper, While he was picking up his tail light off the ground i didin't see any damage, later i noticed the dent , looks like it can be hammered out with some finesse, Just looking at taking it off so i can work on it properly. Anyone have knowledge of taking these off ? again just the drivers side...Thanks!!
Removal is super easy. 2 bolts just above the receiver and then 2 on the ends of the bumper you have to get underneath and look up there’s brackets that come off the hitch the 2 bolts are through those brackets. Then there are 2 plugs that need to be unplugged. That’s it. Going on is harder since you need to align the bumper back to the body lines before snugging up everything.

I see one problem with the ranch hand bumper, I have the LED license plate lights, I don't want to go back to the incandescent round lights, I was considering one of their bumpers.

I got an LED one in the same style Ranch Hand uses at Tractor Supply for a couple bucks. Works good. If you're in a state that requires two plate lights to pass inspection you may need to get creative.
This is when I go to a replacement bumper. my last truck had ranch hand replacements front and back. Way cheaper than OEM at the time. My current ride has the grille guard for now but the first time the bumpers get crunched its full replacement time.

I agree, its a primitive design........."scratch off the paint" to get a good ground, seriously???? LMAO, for the money that thing cost it should allow the oem lights to transfer over. And after a couple of years installed, RUST, everywhere.
