Electtonic Overhead Display

Not sure what is going on with my overhead display. It worked intermittently for a month now I get nothing. Anyone else have experience with this?

Fix is in the tech folder, most likely resistors are unsoldered

i need to tackle mine when i get home in 10 days

I had an issue with the display going dim, I would fist

the ceiling console, and it would go bright again. Took it down twice and inspected, found nothing, re flowed all the larger solder joints, plug connectors Etc, still no-go. Deliberately re-flowed all the solder joints to the SMT resistors, and no issues since. So one of those had an undetectable crack in the solder.

mine seems very dim cant really see it in day time. ill have to try what you described above.

If it is dim, then the resistors are coming unsoldered. They will eventually fall out, and you will lose the whole display.

I had mine done by a place on eBay, by rapid electronics, $25 + $4 shipping. Got it back in a few days all fixed.

Did you go to the compass setting and try a re-calibration per the owners manual? Just a thought...
