A. Lower tire pressure allowing the tire to take up more of the hit.

Thanks for all the info. A question about leaf springs. What should the front leaf springs look like when the truck is parked? Mine looks like a slight frown.

did you get the measurments I mentioned in post #11 ?

they should be flat to slightly frowning

Pirate,
i did take those measurements and I noticed something weird. The back is 24" on both sides, but the front passenger is 23 and the front driver's side is 22. That can't be right.

Yep, it sure can be correctly measured and it sounds like time for some springs.

a 1” sag on one side is uncommon but not impossible..... typical is they sag about the same....if inspect closely for a bent or bronken leaf.

23” front is factory 24” rear
