Hello Friends!

Fuse 23 keeps blowing on me. I know I have a wire shorting out somewhere. I can replace the fuse and drive for a while before it blows again, causes transmission codes and goes to limp mode. Getting ready to crawl under and start looking. It's going to be tough because the truck is old, dirty, greasy, rusty, etc.

Can anybody give me any recommendations of where to look?

Well I got out the diagrams of the wiring and narrowed it down to a red/yellow wire that goes to the transmission control module and the A/C clutch relay. The wiring to the transmission looked good. The wiring to the A/C clutch relay looked good.

Then I remembered: my a/c blower has been getting weaker.

I decided to replace the heater blower ($58) and I have not had the fuse blow since.

Hopefully, that was the problem.
