The unit fools the truck into thinking it is in park. This messes up the Navigation (FORD). If you use waze it works fine. The FORD carms work at any speed. The turn signal camera is usefull. If you have the FORD trailer CAM installed on your trailer you can aslo see that at any speed instead of factury setup of backing only.
You need to not use the factory NAV when using the camera. Waze will show up in the NAV screen and will operate properly. It is easy to turn ON/OFF the NAVIK system.
From the video, it looks like you need to do some kind of secret code to get it to activate? I'd like to be able to run my cargo camera sometimes, and especially my trailer camera, but I don't want to have to go through up, down, up, down, left, right, left right, b, a, b, a, start every time I want to use it.
I don’t have any problem using factory navigation with it.
Yes, $450 is a lot of money. Sometimes I have momentary buyer's remorse, but I’d miss it if I didn’t have it.
No secret codes. There the same for every unit. :-)
I’ve only had to set the turn signal camera operation once, but the camera-while-in-motion seems to reset every time the truck is shut down.
Incidentally, it also lets you program factory nav while the truck's moving.
you push volume button on the one for my xlt for 8 seconds, i wanted it for behind my toy hauler.
I added camera in the grill and above the back license plate when not towing. I have a small
round toggle switch to toggle front/back camera's. It's expensive but a great mod when backing up a 34 ft th! https://naviks.com/i-24075739-2016-2...tegory:1137501

Do you have 2 cameras on the front and back now?
noticed the one for the 150 is cheaper than the superduty😢

I'd gladly enter that code if I could play Kontra on my 8" sync 3 display...

yes and it works with my 2018 sd, about 1/2 hr install. hard part is the video lines into the cab.
i bought these $20 licence plate camera's on amazon, it comes with button for choice of lines.
I have a 4 pin adapter for the back up camera because the toy hauler is 4 pin. Here are the on/off/on
switches im using on my work truck and the f250
Below is the email I received from NAVIKS regarding using the factory navigation system while operating cameras:

The navigation system will not track properly when the cameras are being used in motion. If the cameras bypass is not activated or deactivated the navigation will track properly. Thank You
