Windshield Wipers

MY 1997 EXPLOYER WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOP AND DRAG INTERMITTENLY. I REPLACED THE MULTI-FUNTION SWITCH ON THE COLUMN BUT THE PROBLEMS CONTINUES. ANY SOLUTIONS?

Someone had a post recently about a problem like that and another someone suggested that the plug on the wiper motor may be corroded or loose. Their's would restart if they got out and tapped on the wiper arm. Never heard if it got repaired or not. Hope that helps......
