timing chain tensioner
i have a 97 explorer with the 4.0 sohc. I brought it to the garage today because it has a clattering noise in the front of the engine. they said it was the timing chain tensioner which is not covered by ford anymore. i bought the kit which comes with the hydrulic tensioner, the o-rings for the upper and lower intake. and the kit also came with this long plastic rod and in a bag there is a small brass fitting and a washer. well heres my problem i know where the tensioner and the o-rings go but where does the rest of the parts go? any information asap will be greatfull
