Need help with a non mechanical problem.

My wife hates my truck I know that this is not the usual post and may not belong in this thread but I have to know if others have the same problems. This is a pic of the offending party now this is her “good” side the other side has a cracked fender and ding in bedside from a trailer being cut to sharply by PO and she sports a green F250 tailgate.

I will list its criminal charges:
to long
to wide
it is noisy
it stinks (at the tailpipe)
the arm rests are to high
seats are slick and she slides around
I spend to much time/money on it
it rides to rough
she likes a standard transmission but this one is to long and spacing is to far apart
and the latest is that it makes her feel funny when I take corners fast
The only thing she likes about it is when the camper is hooked up and we are going camping.
Aside from replacing the wife any suggestions?

Well ya took my first option away...

As a daily driver, I too avoided a dually. But...for 5th wheel towing, dually is the way to go.
So....
Maybe get another for daily driving and retire Ol' Whitey to trailer duties? Then you can slowly work on the criminal issues it has over time. Won't hurt the pocket as much then.
I myself still use my SRW as a daily driver. I used to have a little ZR2 Blazer as a daily and that allowed me to take my work horse down for repairs and upgrades. Nice to have that option. But now she is my daily driver again. Will be looking at adding to the fleet again once the Wife's car and tractor is paid off.

I explained that her list of problems are what makes a truck and fixing the problems made them cost $75000 or more.

How often does she actually ride in the truck? My truck rides a little rough with no trailer but i had no problems daily driving it. Only real complaint from the wife was on a road we drove a lot while visiting my mom in Tucson. The seams in the concrete were just the right spacing to get the truck and everything in it bouncing pretty good. My only problem was keeping my eyes on the road.........

There's no need to replace the wife and it would be very expensive, for less money you can add a daily to the mix. The wife can be the camping partner and the other chick for day to day use, some chicks dig running around in a manly truck.

We have a standing rule if I’m driving it’s the truck if she wants to drive we take the car. Have a section of road like that in my area long hill and it gets timed up with my truck and makes things bounce.
The last time I was on that road I was told to slow down and watch the EGT thinggy!!
I think she really doesn’t care for the truck but makes a big deal to get me to quit smiling so much when it makes that sucking sound under the hood.

I hear that the bilstein shocks are like adding another leaf or two I’ll have to get a mouth guard to keep from chipping my teeth or biting my tongue and do a mod on the rear view mirror (the one out of a school bus will work).

The problem with your program here is that the only time she'll allowed to drive is when I'm not in the vehicle.

You can look for a new model on farmersonly.com

I have not replaced them. I don't "see" a problem. Or I guess what I see is not a problem
