After lurking here I bought a 2000 XLT V10 2wd, thanks to you folks I have fixed the a/c issues and the info center.
My question is it’s sitting on 305-85 20’s and I’m assuming has a lift of some sort. It has a small block in the rear and has bilstein shocks but would any other pics help to identify?
I just want want to level it. Thanks again for the help so far and I’m hoping someone can help with this
Welcome to the club! Clean looking X! I'm sure the local suspension gurus will chime in. Take some pics of the suspension including the block and springs and post up.
Yes it has had blocks added to raise the ride height.
hard to tell from the pics how much rake it has so if you measure from the center of the hub to the bottom of the fender lip both front and rear then we can figure out your rake as well as height change over stock.
to level it the best way in my opinion is to lower the back. After doing your measurments you can figure the exact height you want and order a set of custom blocks from PMF.
Did the 4wd come with a spacer blocks in the rear? I'm also a new x owner and trying to figure things out with my ride.
Welcome to the EX forum!
Start a new thread to show off your new EX and discuss exactly what it is that you are trying to figure out, lots of EXperience floating around in here, I'm sure we can help to sort it out with you.
Yes, the 4x4 EX came with a 2"-ish rear lift block. A good starting move when figuring out suspension questions is to get four corner measurement from the hub center to the wheelwell arch, that will tell you and us exactly where your suspension sits without the variances of the tires. Be sure to be parked on a flat and level surface for the measuring work.
Oh, and we do require pictures of the rig!
let one of the suspension guys say for sure but that sounds like you need new leaf springs up front from other threads on suspension i have read on here.
