Sync 3 Questions
- Does SiriusXM display album art if available?
- Can text messages be viewed while vehicle in motion?
- Can you speak to reply to a text message? (I think I know the answer to this is no. Just send pre-composed responses)

Text messages cannot be viewed while moving. You can however listen to them.
I have not found a way to respond to a text using just Sync. I have to do the "Hey Google" thing to respond verbally.
No idea on SiriusXM. I'm too cheap to pay what they want.

I tried Sirius XM and didn’t like it. I don’t remember about the album art.
I don’t believe that text messages can be viewed while the vehicle is in motion, but you can listen to them.
The OM indicates that you can verbally reply to a text message using Sync 3. I haven’t tried it.

No but you can listen to text
No Sync to text message

Apple Car Play to speak to reply to a text (through Sync 3) works amazingly well. Unfortunately that's the only thing I've found Car Play to be good for. It removes temperature from the display and the maps are terrible compared to sync 3 maps.

from factory text messages cannot be seen while driving. Only listened to. You can change this with forscan and be able to read or listen to messages while vehicle is in motion. You cannot reply tho other than with pre selected messages. If you use apple CarPlay or android auto you do have the option to have say what you want texted.

Album art shows on Pandora, you can compose full text messages through Google with Android Auto. I think google maps and Waze are superior to the stock maps. Just my observation. The Sirius is so awful in SQ I used forscan to disable it completely.
