Coolant Block Drain?

Is there one for the V10 engine? Every thing I see on Youtube shows the radiator drain and flush a couple times but that will still leave water in the block. I'd like to get it all out before I refill. This is on a 2000 V10 if it matters.

to flush the block you could just put water down the upper hose until it comes out clear from the bottom. Or if you're going to go through all that change the thermostat and flush water through the thermostat housing.

you could use this as a guide, should be essentially the same. 2004 F250 5.4L Coolant Flush

Yes each head has a plug that a 3/8" ratchet fits into

6.8L Block coolant drains

Have never seen a coolant drain in the heads, but here are photos of the block drains.

Have a drain **** in the drivers side. Easier to get to.

Passenger side is harder to get to. Someday . . .

Someone must have added that brass drain on the drivers side, ford only installs them plugs from the factory. I actually like that I'm gonna buy one now and add it when I flush mine in the next week or so
