Thumbs up Changing front Ends and Headlights?

Hey all, its been awhile since I was on here, tbeen busy with the house, that said my new toy is a 1990 F150 Short bed, Regular cab, 302 with a 5 speed manual.I just bought 35 x 12.50 Coopers for it and it already had a 4" suspension lift. I am thinking of switching the front end so I can upgrade my lghts to some of the New Halogen/LED lights. In order to do it I know I would need to change the Radiator Core, and Fenders, but my question is will my existing (1990) hood and cab match up with the fenders? Would there be any electrical issues? (Going from the regualr old lights to the LEDs). This one is going to be my toy so I am not necessarily keeping it completley stock "90" But I'm not going to trash a good cab just for the headlights either. My concerne is that in order to get the hood to line-up with the fenders, I may have to get a 92 Hood, which may not allign with the cab. Any input is appreciated.

So you want to swap an 87-91 front clip with a 92-96 front clip, correct?

An 87-91 hood will not work on a 92-96 front clip. The cabs are the same. Everything will swap, you'd be best off finding a donor vehicle though and buy everything from the doors forward. That's what I'd do.

Good advise.

The forward end of the hood is a completely different shape.

If a headlight upgrade is your only concern, then I can put you in touch with someone that may be able to make build you some custom headlights. Then you won't have to swap the entire front clip if you don't want to.

pm me if you're interested.
