Get the phone app for the CAT Scales. - you link it to your paypal account, don't have to go inside at all or attempt to understand what they are saying over the intercom. Simply bring up the app, drive onto the scale, enter the scale # , wait for confirmation on the app and then simply drive off. You will have the scale ticket before you drive off. Easy Peasy.

Ask for a slip axle. Makes sure you axles are on different pads when you park it on the scale.
This is way you still pay just the $11 but you get the total weight and the weight on each axle.
Knowing what is on each axle is very interesting and can be really important...like is my weight dist hitch set up correctly.
