Having some tranny issues,,and kind of got it narrowed down to a problem in the wiring to the output speed sensor.. Although I haven't for sure found the problem yet..I have wrang out and shot the wires from PCM to OSS, and everything ck'd good.. But ,,the truck wasn't moving or hot..
I'm trying to track down the part number for the harness and am not having much luck.. I'm looking for the harness that goes from PCM plug C1381B to the transmission, that encompasses the solenoid body plug , ISS/TSS,, OSS and more.. I still need to go inch by inch over the harness to see if there is a chafe or something somewhere,,,but want the number to start looking for price and availability if I need it

Well ,,I did manage to track down the p/n. Also managed to figure out that the problem is definitely the harness.. My problem was intermittently ,,and then becoming more and more frequently, trans slipping and sometimes severe hard shifts,,,,sometimes no codes ,,sometimes P0720 and P0722... The strange thing was...it was ONLY happening in right turns !!
I ck'd all wiring from pcm to Output speed sensor..No opens,,no shorts while the truck was sitting in driveway. What I found by going inch by inch down the harness,,was that right behind my HFCM on the frame ,,about 2 inches of the harness is crushed between the frame and the truck body....So when I make a rt turn and body leans left,,shorting out on frame..
About 5 yrs ago ,,I paid a shop to replace all my body mounts,,i'm sure when they set the body back down,,they crushed the harness between frame and body...
Just in case anyone ever needs one,, the p/n is 6C3Z-15525-PA.. That is for a 2006 4x4 ,,auto trans..This harness is still available from Ford...
